My Past and Current Projects
Mousu is a roguelite that has the player fighting against hordes of rats as one of the last great warriors of micedom, working to rebuild the kingdom to its former glory. Mousu was designed over a ~10 month period and was designed by a group of 11 university students. The game has been released as an “early access” prototype to exemplify the project.
On the Dragondrop Interactive team I worked as the Tech Lead. My key responsibilities were to lead the team of four programmers, keep our services online, and keep the project the in order and organized. My key contribution to the game is the Mouse controller, including animation programming.
On top of that I hosted numerous server-side software packages including:
Zero Point: Extremis is a parkour shooter that emphasizes the heavier, more realistic feeling parkour found in Mirror's Edge and Dying Light, but fills in what we believe they are missing direly - a proper multiplayer shooter experience.
On the Squad Ghouls team I worked as the Programming Lead. My key responsibilities were to lead the team of three programmers, keep our services online, and keep the project in order and organized. My key contribution to the game are the backend services. The backend service tracked game user logins, stats, and multiplayer server instances. This service was also used to notify the developers when a player was online to attempt to populate the servers.
